For students who have industry background or knowledge, the A+ Prep Certificate offer preparation for the CompTIA A+ Certified Technician exams.

Since 1991, we have served more than 1,000 English learners from around the world in our Academic ESL Program.

The program is designed to develop an understanding of, and skills in, the principles of accounting as related to practical use in business. 

This program prepares graduate for employment in small to medium-sized businesses, performing jobs ranging from general office duties to basic accounting tasks.

This program is for residents of the Black Hawk College district who have limited English or who are non-English-speaking adults, 17 years of age or older.

The Advanced Large Animal Certificate program is designed to prepare the graduate to succeed in employment as a large animal technician.

Succeed in securing management positions of employment in veterinary hospitals, clinics and animal care facilities.

Students completing this program will find a great demand for their skills in agri-related supply and service businesses.

This program offers classroom instruction and labs coupled with supervised on-the-job experience to prepare students for employment.

Students completing this program will have the technical skills to operate, calibrate, and maintain agriculture chemical application equipment.
